  • This page is for what the mod is all about. All of this is taken from the #about-mod channel in the Discord server though some of the stuff here may be outdated and doesn't represnt the current direction of the mod. The official Trello for the mod expands more on what is it about.

    Main info about the mod
The Pizza Tower Chef's Kiss mod is a mod made by CMD28. It's an expansion of the Character Dresser mod. Its main focus is reimplementing planned but not fully added characters, as well as many cut features, such as hard mode, character specific music, UI and other misc. As a lot of these features were missing many elements, the mod aims to add original substitutes for sprites, backgrounds and music. A few original levels and concepts are planned as well, such as hard mode changing backgrounds, some completely altered character movesets and some extra goodies. Alongside these will be the lapping feature, with its own twist to it of course. For anyone curious, here is more extra info about what won't and will be added of the things that can be revealed for now (subject to change in the future)

    About the Characters
Replacement sprites for missing animations, new TVs, updated/changed gameplay mechanics as well as character specific music during extra laps. All of the ones that can transform will also be given sprites for that if needed. Many will also receive purely cosmetic addons, such as new clothes and taunts. There are also two characters that almost don't transform at all, except for completely necessary ones, such as fireass. Characters that will be added and their specific changes-
    Peppino
He will be by far the least changed character main gameplay wise. He will get toggleble extra moves from previous builds and more than likely some new transformations, but not much else. Most of it is completely cosmetic.
    The Noise
His playstyle will be changed quite a bit from his final cut form. He will have a lot of his final moveset, but in addition he is able to use his jetpack and switch to pogo with a press of a button. Or at least that's the plan for now. He will also have visual updates for the few sprites that have age (Including that one Noisette sprite.) His replacement boss will be his estranged brother Mr. Orange. (Pictured below)

    The Vigilante
This cheeseslime is one of the two characters that won't transform almost at all. His gameplay consists of just avoiding obstacles by using dynamite and his guns (revolver and uzi). His replacement boss is the Outlaw. (Pictured below)

    Pepperman
This boastful pepper is the second character that won't transform near at all, though he can shrink. His gameplay consists of switching in an out of being mini Pepperman, since they have very different powers and weaknesses. Mini Pepperman is more focused on mobility, being able to cross large gaps and having a wallclimb, being very pathetic against enemies. Big Pepperman is more of a powerhouse that can plow through everyone and everything but he is far more difficult to maneuver. His replacement boss is Grandpa Pepper. (Pictured below)

    Snick
It's him! His gameplay will change to make the spindash or adjacent move better and many of his transformations will include his many friends. He is very subject to change as of right now.
    Pizzelle
She will change a lot of the world around her, making it a lot more similar to Sugary Spire. These changes include giving her confecti, changing breakable blocks. Sound effect changes and so on and so forth. No complete level makeovers, replacement bosses, nor transformations from her own game. Pizzano is currently not planned either, as he is from the leaked Sugary Spire demo.

    Gameplay features
    Hard mode
Hard mode as of right now will include Combo the ghost chucking down enemies at you and enemies having different attacks and color schemes when the heat meter gets full. In addition, instead of Pizzaface chasing you when you take too long during Pizza Time, you get hounded by the Pizzamancer instead. (Pictured below)

    Lapping
You can do as many laps as you want, but just know that the tower will fight back. After each lap you get a slight increase in time for your timer, but with each lap that bonus is decreased. In addition, after lap 4, hard mode will be automatically turned on. You'll get new music to listen to during it, though.

    Changes to the tower
    Scrapped/old levels
There are plans to remake old and scrapped levels to fit better with how Pizza Tower currently works and to just be better to play. Main one currently being worked on is Strongcold. Dragon’s Lair and Mansion are also very likely to be added. All the others in consideration but there are no direct plans to implement yet.
    New Levels
Diced and Derelict (made by TriTurtle) and Excavation Station (made by Louey) are two main named and planned completely original levels. They might not be the only ones in the future, but that is to be determined as of yet.
    Snick's challenges
For every floor there will be a Snick's challenge accompanying it. These challenges the floors' levels slightly visually edited, and modified to be one long endurance gauntlet, featuring the same song that was in the SAGE demo’s Snick challenge. All the while Snick.exe follows you. Make sure you complete it in time or he’ll get you.
    Extra sections and changes
Besides the devroom, there'll be a few extra rooms hidden here and there. The tower will hopefully feel far more lively too since more characters will hang around in different spots each time you visit. Also, depending on the character you play as, these fellows moving about change as well, plus some extra silly occurrences in some areas depending on who you are. Plus Pizzelle might bring a level into the Pizza Tower with her as well.

Extra stuff maybe sorta kinda planned
Any extra characters that weren't already mentioned are in this category.
Brick n Gustavo have some extra sprites made for them, so they're the most likely extra addons if we feel like adding them.
Fake Peppino and Gerome, despite being in Character Dresser, are not planned as of right now.
Other Old levels and non-remade old levels.
Space Pinball, Old Golf, Noise's Hardoween and anything else has not reached the phase of being actively planned.
Non-remade levels could all go into their own section in the tower for whoever wants them, but right now they're mostly unplanned.
    Literally anything else.
Multiplayer is a hard unsure right now and probably will be for a long time.
Music won't be too heavily changed outside of laps and bosses most likely.
This is a character-centric mod first and foremost. Don't expect too much thought and effort put into anything else.
